A Honkai: Star Rail leak indicates that the game is going to add one of the most-requested features in a future update. The turn-based action game from HoYoverse has already broken records before launching in late April, and many fans have been waiting patiently for new characters and features to be added.Just like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Impact 3rd, Honkai: Star Rail is a gacha game that lets players pull for various characters, including exclusive banner characters like Jing Yuan and Seele, to build strong teams. Since the game's still in its early stages, it's still lacking some features that HoYoverse fans, especially those who frequently play Genshin Impact, have gotten used to. One of them is an in-game chat to talk with their friends, which many Star Rail fans have requested.RELATED: Honkai: Star Rail Confirms Version 1.0 Phase 2 BannerIt seems like Honkai: Star Rail players might get their wish in an upcoming update. In a post on the "Leaks by Blednaya" Telegram group, owned by prominent HoYoverse leaker Blednaya, she reported that an in-game chat will be added in Star Rail in update 1.1. Screenshots of the reported chat function have also surfaced on social media, which showed a window with text bubbles between two friends.

Upon seeing the leaked in-game chat, many Honkai: Star Rail players expressed their excitement for the feature, with some hoping that it will have stickers like in Genshin Impact. While others didn't seem to like the chat's UI, suggesting that it should look similar to the text conversations between characters in the game.

Honkai: Star Rail update 1.1 is expected to drop around June 7, but many leakers have already shared some details about it. Apart from the new chat function, Blednaya previously uploaded a video of Yukong's gameplay, like her idle and combat animations. Another Star Rail leak showed ten characters that are expected to come out in future patches. But like with any leak, gamers should still take them with a grain of salt until HoYoverse confirms the Honkai: Star Rail news. It's still possible that certain characters and features might come out later than what was first reported.

As of yesterday, Honkai: Star Rail launched a new banner event revolving around Jing Yuan, a Lightning character from Xianzhou that follows the Path of Erudition. Those who haven't acquired the banner character yet might have started researching which Relics and Light Cones go well with Jing Yuan, so many players would be able to build a powerful team with him as the main damage dealer.

Honkai: Star Rail is now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
