Honkai: Star Rail introduced Trailblazers to a pair of new characters, Misha and Sparkle, confirming that they will specialize in Ice and Quantum elements, respectively. Over the last few days, Honkai: Star Rail players have been treated to reliable leaks about version 2.0, one of which indicated that Misha and Sparkle will appear in the Penacony world. During The Game Awards 2023, HoYoverse revealed a trailer dedicated to the update 2.0, giving players their first look at other Penacony-based units, Acheron and Black Swan.

A couple of days ago, Honkai: Star Rail revealed a drip marketing campaign for Black Swan, a five-star Nihility unit that will reportedly arrive next year. According to credible sources, she will be the main character in the second phase of the update, during which players will also get several reruns. There is a strong chance that Misha will be featured on Black Swan's banner, considering the first part of version 2.0 will allegedly focus on Sparkle. If leaks are to be believed, Honkai: Star Rail players will have a number of options to expand their well-rounded teams.

A recent Honkai: Star Rail leak drops an update on the version 1.6 banner lineup, revealing that a roster of units will receive reruns.

Honkai: Star Rail has confirmed that Misha and Sparkle will soon be available on the current banner, revealing that they will follow the Destruction and the Harmony path, respectively. As reported by early leaks, Misha will have a four-star rarity, while Sparkle will be one of the five-star units. Apart from their path and rarity, Honkai: Star Rail showed in-game models of these characters, who have their own unique outfits. Misha wears a short, multicolored dress in addition to black boots, a small hat, and a leg belt, while Sparkle dons a red, flurry dress that matches her Fire element.

It's worth noting that the exact release dates for Misha and Sparkle have yet to be confirmed, but many leaks suggest they will become playable in version 2.0, which will arrive in February 2023. In addition to Honkai: Star Rail's Penacony-based characters, the upcoming update will bring a set of events that offer Stellar Jades, which can be used to pull new units from the permanent banner.
