Honkai: Star Rail revealed March 7th's new variant, which shows the main character's element, Path, and star level. March 7th is one of the main characters in Honkai: Star Rail, who usually accompanies the Trailblazer on their missions along with Dan Heng. At the start of the game, players can get March 7th as their free support character.

March 7th is a 4-star Ice character following the Path of Preservation, which allows her to provide shields for herself and her allies. Many Honkai: Star Rail fans have speculated that March 7th would get an alternate variant, particularly a 5-star one, since Dan Heng has a 5-star form as Imbibitor Lunae. Despite giving March an alternate cosmetic once, Honkai: Star Rail didn't immediately pull the trigger on her second form.

Although it isn't a 5-star variant as many Honkai: Star Rail fans hoped, many were still elated to see March 7th's new form, especially since she's the last of the three main protagonists to get one. They also expressed their excitement over the fact that she would be a DPS character trained under Yanqing and the upcoming 5-star character Yunli, which is the total opposite of her original support traits. Likewise, many praised March 7th's new design, saying that the Xianzhou-style outfit suited her.

When Will March 7th's New Variant Come Out?

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3 will signal the official conclusion to the Astral Express Crew's adventure in Penacony, and it was confirmed that they would be going back to the Xianzhou Luofu afterward. Honkai: Star Rail teased that Version 2.4 will center around the Wardance Luminary Combat Arts Ceremony, featuring March 7th, Yunli, and other Xianzhou characters who will most likely become playable in the future. Honkai: Star Rail fans can expect this update to drop sometime in July, so they still have to wait a month before getting their hands on the new March 7th variant.
