Honkai: Star Rail has officially revealed the trio of four-star characters that will feature alongside Luocha during the second half of Version 1.1. With the popular sci-fi RPG from HoYoverse preparing to move into the second half of its first post-launch update, players have already been treated to plenty of new content in the first half. The debut of fan-favorite character Silver Wolf was joined by an event focused around the character, as well as a new management-themed mini-game with plenty of rewards. Now, Luocha will soon be officially available for players.
While Luocha is just now set to become playable, the character has played a role in Honkai: Star Rail's story since the beginning. Luocha debuted during the story of Version 1.0, accompanying Dan Heng and Sushang on an excursion through the Xianzhou Luofu. Luocha would appear as a "Trial" character during those missions with Luocha actively taking a role in combat, though players were not yet able to control the character. Now, his addition to the roster will arrive tonight with a trio of four-star characters alongside him.
Ahead of the banner's official release, Honkai: Star Rail has confirmed the three four-star character joining Luocha's banner, including one that had previously been revealed. Luocha's banner will feature characters from three different Paths with Nihility character Pela, Erudition character Qingque, and Harmony character Yukong benefiting from boosted rates. The banner serves as Yukong's official introduction into Honkai: Star Rail, after also featuring heavily in the story of the Xianzhou Luofu. Luocha's banner is set to run through the end of Version 1.1 on July 18th.
Luocha's banner will feature several supportive characters looking to disrupt opponents' strategies. Pela's Skill allows her to remove buffs from enemies while her Ultimate afflicts enemies with DEF reduction, allowing allies to get in for big damage. Yukong helps to boost allies' damage with various parts of her kit buffing ally stats like ATK, Crit Rate, and Crit Damage. The lone DPS character of the group, Qingque, features a unique mechanic with her Skill based on Mahjong that allows her to deal heavy Quantum damage to multiple enemies.
The release of Luocha within Honkai: Star Rail comes as HoYoverse has already revealed multiple characters set to appear throughout the coming updates. The developer would officially confirm Kafka, Blade, and Luka as the newest characters to be added to the game, set to debut in Version 1.2. Honkai: Star Rail has also already teased several future roster additions in-game, including characters appearing in the story like Fu Xuan, Xueyi, and Screwllum. Luocha's debut will bring two brand-new members to Honkai: Star Rail's growing cast of characters.
Honkai: Star Rail is available now for PC and mobile devices with a PS5 version releasing in Q4 2023.
