A recent Honkai: Star Rail leak revealed the banner lineup for Version 2.0. Just like other HoYoverse titles, Honkai: Star Rail utilizes a gacha system where players pull for a wide range of characters to build their teams.

Honkai: Star Rail is a few days away from rolling out Version 1.4, which will feature new five-star banner characters Jingliu and Topaz, and four-star Guinaifen. But recently, there had already been a series of leaks that seemed to tease the upcoming banner characters for Version 1.6. Although these hadn't been confirmed by HoYoverse, they were enough to excite many Honkai: Star Rail players.

The most recent Honkai: Star Rail leak reported the rumored lineup of Version 2.0. Prominent leaker hsr_stuff2, per Stepleaker, tweeted that the banner will allegedly include five-stars Hanabi/Sparkle (Quantum, Path of Harmony) and Black Swan (Wind, Path of Nihility), and four-star Misha (Ice, Path of Destruction). The two five-star characters were revealed in earlier leaks, but were considered unused since they didn't have a final version release back then. Black Swan, in particular, had already made an appearance in the first "Myriad Celestia" cinematic. If the leak turns out to be real, then Honkai: Star Rail fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming months.

Many Honkai: Star Rail fans had a lot of questions following the leak report, like whether HoYoverse planned to change Hanabi's name to Sparkle. Some also questioned whether the new world Penacony would be introduced in Version 1.6 or 2.0 as it seemed to be taking a while to debut. Meanwhile, others expressed their confusion as to why Honkai: Star Rail might jump to Version 2.0 after 1.6.

It's important to note that the leaks aren't final yet, so Honkai: Star Rail fans will have to take them with a grain of salt for now. There had been instances in Honkai: Star Rail and even fellow HoYoverse game Genshin Impact wherein characters were leaked, but ended up either being scrapped or taking a long time before they could officially debut. One such character was Dracula, who existed in Honkai Impact 3rd and was initially believed to be joining Honkai: Star Rail's roster before all the online reports had been wiped.

For now, many Honkai: Star Rail players have been continuously farming Stellar Jades in preparation for the Version 1.4 banner characters. They'll also have more opportunities to farm materials in Version 1.4's new events and missions.

Honkai: Star Rail is available now on PC and mobile devices, with a PS5 version releasing on October 11.
