A new leak from Honkai: Star Rail is giving the first teasers about the five-star characters set to appear during the Version 2.4 update. Honkai: Star Rail has rolled out a plethora of new characters for players to pick up throughout the game's recent patches, introducing multiple five-star roster members per update. The ongoing Version 2.2 update added Robin and Boothill to Honkai: Star Rail, while Version 2.3 will welcome another five-star pair with the long-awaited Firefly and Jade. Now, the first inklings about Version 2.4 are starting to be revealed.

While not much is known about what Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.4 will add, past leaks are already giving an idea of its potential main setting. Recent leaks from the game have suggested players will be returning to the Xianzhou Luofu after several patches exploring the game's newest world of Penacony. Star Rail is rumored to be seeing "multiple updates" of Xianzhou Luofu-adjacent characters added to the game's playable roster before the launch of Honkai: Star Rail's fourth world. A new leak is now suggesting that players will be making their return to the Luofu with two new characters in Version 2.4.

A Honkai: Star Rail chart ranks playable characters by their usage rate in the Pure Fiction domain for the ongoing Version 2.2.

A recent update shared via prominent Honkai: Star Rail leaker Seele Leaks is giving players their first idea of the featured characters for Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.4. The update is reportedly set to introduce a pair of new five-star characters, with both Jiaoqiu and Yunli joining Star Rail's roster during the update. The original source is also said to be a trusted leaker for the game, said to have correctly predicted the character lineups for multiple versions as well as the free Dr. Ratio in Version 1.6. Neither character has appeared in-person within Honkai: Star Rail's story as of yet.

Honkai: Star Rail Leaks Version 2.4 Five-Star Characters

Though neither character has been officially revealed, leaks have already started to tease Jiaoqiu and Yunli's kits within Star Rail. Jiaoqiu is expected to be a Fire Nihility character, playing a utility role in teams by shredding enemy DEF and boosting Ultimate damage. Yunli is heavily rumored to be a Physical character with a playstyle focused around protecting allies and using follow-up attacks, likely in the Erudition Path. Version 2.4 is currently expected to release in late July.

The newest characters joining Honkai: Star Rail comes as the game's main cast has seen multiple confirmed and rumored changes. Version 2.2 saw the introduction of the Trailblazer's third version, with the player character shifting into an Imaginary element Harmony character. Leaks have also suggested that popular starter character March 7th is going to be receiving an alternate version in the near future, complete with a new kit, element, and Path. Between new characters and alternative versions of old ones, Honkai: Star Rail's roster is expected to grow significantly through the coming updates.
