A recent leak from Honkai: Star Rail has revealed the rarity of each Penacony character, who will be added to the current banner in future versions. Honkai: Star Rail players will get to explore an all-new world called Penacony, which is littered with NPC's, enemies, and chests. This mysterious location will include a number of units, such as Gallagher, Sparkle, and more. Over the past few months, there have only been speculations about these characters, with one suggesting they will make their playable debut in early 2024.
Honkai: Star Rail's version 1.6 will bring an assortment of content, including free banners, time-limited warp events, and Light Cones. Players are saving their Stellar Jades to purchase Rail Passes and use them on warps to get new characters. In addition to cavern relics and Stagnant Shadow stages, a brand-new permanent mode for Honkai: Star Rail, which is a multi-stage combat dungeon, will be added in version 1.6 in December. A recent Honkai: Star Rail leak from Stepleaker revealed the rarity of each character who will appear in the Penacony world. Trailblazers will be introduced to a roster of five-star units: Acheron, Boothill, Robin, and Sparkle. They will also strengthen their team with some four-star characters rooted in the Penacony region, such as Misha, Screwllum, and Gallagher. While the release dates of these characters are currently unknown, some previous leaks from the same source suggest that they will become available in version 1.6 and beyond.
A couple of months ago, it was revealed through leaks that Honkai: Star Rail's Gallagher would be the first unit with facial hair. In addition to the scars on his body, he has a classic outfit decorated with a black belt and a colorful tie. There was also a pair of leaks regarding Misha, with one, in particular, indicating that she would be an Ice Destruction character. Unfortunately, information about other upcoming Penacony-themed characters is only speculation at the moment.
If Penacony becomes available in Honkai: Star Rail version 1.6 later this year, these units will likely be added to the banner to celebrate the release of the new region.
