Recent Honkai: Star Rail leaks have revealed that a popular character named March 7th might receive a new form in the coming months. Developer HoYoverse keeps updating the pool of playable characters, now surpassing 40 unique units, with Acheron as the latest addition.

Even though new characters often seem much more powerful thanks to complex kits, many Honkai: Star Rail players still use some of the starter characters in their main team compositions. One of the free-to-play starter characters is March 7th, the famous user of the Six-Phased Ice.

Honkai: Star Rail Vastly Outperforms Genshin Impact in March Revenue

An interesting mobile game report reveals that Honkai: Star Rail's March sales outperformed Hoyoverse's most popular title, Genshin Impact.

March 7th is one of the first characters to be introduced to the Trailblazer in Honkai: Star Rail's main storyline. She is a cheerful girl saved from eternal ice by Honkai: Star Rail's Astral Express Crew. After waking up, she decided to rename herself after the date of her rescue, "March 7th." A new post on the Honkai: Star Rail Leaks subreddit has revealed that March 7th could soon receive a completely new form that will equip her with dual blades instead of her current bow. The credible leaker known as hxg_diluc has also revealed that her official splash art will feature characters from Xianzhou, a major faction in Honkai: Star Rail that follows Aeon Lan.

Honkai: Star Rail: How Will March 7th Get Her New Form

There is still no information about how March 7th will obtain these new powers in the storyline, but many fans speculate that it could be the result of the character receiving more information about her past. A couple of months ago, another Honkai: Star Rail character named Dan Heng went through a similar process after he accepted his true Vidyadhara form and gained power from the previous reincarnation of Imbibitor Lunae.

While Dan Heng's new form was introduced to the game as a completely new character, fans speculate that the updated March 7th could be obtained through Eidolons, which work similarly to Constellations in Genshin Impact. Every character in Honkai: Star Rail has six Eidolon levels, which can be unlocked by using their respective Eidolon items. These items can be obtained by receiving a duplicate of a character, either by purchasing it from the Starlight Exchange or through pulling from Wraps.

At the moment there is no official information about when March 7th might receive this new form, but it's unlikely that it will be a part of the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.2. Many fans in the comment section praised HoYoverse's decision to update one of their starting characters. In most gacha-based games, many players often abandon their starter characters since they cannot keep up with the game's ever-evolving meta.
