This trick will allow players to roam around as Jingliu without her eye mask since Honkai: Star Rail will detect that she's in the "Spectral Transmigration" state, which is active after using Shine of Truth. However, some members of the Honkai: Star Rail community are having issues while attempting to replicate the trick and take a photo of Jingliu with her eyes exposed.
According to Reddit user pepzelos, Jingliu's eye mask will return if the player activates her ability and opens Photo Mode in Honkai: Star Rail. Some players note that the eye mask trick may not work in a few instances while using Photo Mode, so it's possible that HoYoverse may have not intended for Jingliu's eye mask to be removed outside of combat.
