A Honkai: Star Rail leak has revealed the updated Ascension and Trace materials for upcoming characters Jiaoqiu and Yunli. As teased by Honkai: Star Rail, both five-stars are set to drop in Version 2.4 along with March 7th's new Imaginary form.

According to previous leaks, Honkai: Star Rail is returning to the Xianzhou Luofu for its next adventure, which is also Jiaoqiu and Yunli's native planet. Jiaoqiu is a Fire-type character following the path of Nihility, while Yunli is a Physical-type who follows the path of Destruction. Honkai: Star Rail will also debut March 7th's variant in Version 2.4, which is an Imaginary-type under the path of the Hunt. Players who wish to grind for these characters before they drop are in luck as a new leak has revealed which upgrade materials they'll need.

Honkai: Star Rail was a hit since launch, but the recent patches have made it one of the better gacha games in recent months.

Honkai: Star Rail leaker Dim has shared an updated list of Jiaoqiu and Yunli's Ascension and Trace Materials, revealing that some changes were made in the latest beta. As per the leak, Jiaoqiu will now ascend with Raging Heart and Immortal Lumintwig, and Yunli can level up using IPC Work Permit and Artifex's Gyreheart. Both will need Phantylia's Regret of Infinite Ochema for Traces as well.

Jiaoqiu's Ascension and Trace Materials:

  • Raging Heart - Obtained from Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Ire in Penacony
  • Immortal Lumintwig - Obtained through Assignment Rewards, Xianzhou Luofu enemies, synthesis, or Simulated Universe
  • Heaven Incinerator - Obtained from Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Nihility on the Xianzhou Luofu or through synthesis
  • Regret of Infinite Ochema - Obtained from Phantylia's Echo of War boss

Yunli's Ascension and Trace Materials:

  • IPC Work Permit - Obtained from Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Duty in Penacony
  • Artifex's Gyreheart - Obtained through Assignment Rewards, Xianzhou Luofu enemies, synthesis, or Simulated Universe
  • Moon Range Fang - Obtained from Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Destruction on the Xianzhou Luofu or through synthesis
  • Regret of Infinite Ochema - Obtained from Phantylia's Echo of War boss

In previous leaks, both Jiaoqiu and Yunli needed Penacony materials to ascend, such as Shards of Desires and Dream Making Engine. The new leak shows that the characters' materials are more Luofu-related. There were no changes made to March 7's upgrade materials, meaning that she will still ascend using Horn of Snow and Conqueror's Will. However, Honkai: Star Rail has altered Imaginary March 7th's stats and the buffs gained from her Eidolons.

Version 2.3 marked the end of players' time in Penacony and fans are eager to see what's in store for the Trailblazer and company going forward. Honkai: Star Rail leaked story content for Version 2.4, and it appears that Yunli, Janqing, and March 7th will star in the next chapter's main event. The game's next update will launch on July 30.
