A recently conducted Honkai: Star Rail poll reveals the name of the most popular character within the game's Chinese community.

Since its release back in April 2023, Honkai: Star Rail has featured at least one new character per update, with Robin and Boothill being the most recent additions in 2.2. With Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3 just around the corner, players will soon be able to wish for the long-awaited Firefly, who is one of the most anticipated characters in the community. Even though she is yet to officially become available on the banner, a new set of beta leaks has already provided more details about the characters that will arrive in the following update. A credible Honkai: Star Rail leaker named Razor_Language has revealed more details about the new Foxian five-star, Jiaoqiu.

Honkai: Star Rail - Jiaoqiu's Kit Leaked

  • Basic Attack - Standard single-target attack
  • Skill - Jiaoqiu deals Fire damage to an enemy and two nearby targets. The primary target will be inflicted by a stack effect called Roast the Ash.
  • Ultimate - Jiaoqiu sets the number of Ash stacks on enemy targets to the highest number of stacks on the field. He then activates a field effect that deals Fire damage, scaling with Jiaoqiu's ATK. The field effect lasts for three turns, indicating that Jiaoqiu could be a great support in Honkai: Star Rail.

Honkai: Star Rail's new five-star Nihility character seems to rely heavily on the Roast the Ash stacks, which is tied to his Talent effect, allowing him to apply a stack whenever his Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate hits an enemy target. Based on the number of stacks, these stacks increase incoming damage by 7.5%-18.8%.

These leaks should be interpreted carefully, considering that HoYoverse could still make significant changes to Jiaoqiu's kit before he becomes a playable character. When it comes to his release date, rumors claim that he will be placed in the second part of Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.4, meaning that players can expect his arrival around August 20.
