How To Beat Sunday Weekly Boss In Honkai: Star Rail
To beat "Harmonious Choir" The Great Septimus weekly boss in Honkai: Star Rail, you must ensure the Echoes of Faded Dreams (his minions) are not taking action. You can do so by including units that can break the minions’ Toughness. If the minions move, they’ll cause too many unnecessary problems that can easily be prevented with at least one Imaginary, Lightning, or Fire AoE hitter. The more Toughness your team breaks, the better shield they get to block all of Sunday's attacks.
When Sunday enters his final stage, Embryo of Philosophy, he will gain nine Toughness shields and charge for seven turns for a hard-hitting attack. He’ll act after each character’s turn; you can’t slow him or do anything to prevent that. All you can do is break enough Toughness to get a shield that'll absorb the damage from his Ultimate attack. Even if you can’t break all his nine shields, make sure to break his Toughness enough times to gather 20,000 shield points and nullify a big chunk of his damage.
Team Composition To Beat Sunday Weekly Boss
The best characters to include in team comps to beat Sunday weekly boss in Honkai: Star Rail are units that can take a lot of Toughness with multi-hit or bounce attacks like:
- Asta: She increases the team’s ATK% while speeding them up with a very useful Skill to break Sunday’s Toughness.
- Gallagher: He’s a healer with an AoE fire Ultimate that helps break the boss and all his minions’ Toughness.
- Guinaifen: She can be a useful AoE Fire hitter if you don’t have better options.
- Himeko: Endless upon endless AoE Fire attacks from her Ultimate and Talent.
- Aventurine: Not only he’s a shielder, but Aventurine can deal Toughness damage to the boss and his minions.
- Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae: His Ultimate and Basic Attack are AoE hits with a huge damage potential.
- Luocha: A very laid-back healer who doesn’t use any Skill Points while hitting AoE Imaginary on his Ultimate.
- Welt: Just like Asta, Welt's bounce hits on his Skill could all land on the boss to hit his Toughness hard with an AoE ultimate that can imprison the minions.
- Acheron: There’s nothing hard for Acheron, so she’ll be included in the best characters for everything.
- Serval: Serval is a true DoT an AoE hitter with all her Skills, so she can be a very useful 4-star in this weekly boss fight.
- Kafka: Kafka can hit hard like a Erudition unit while applying hurtful DoTs with her Nihility nature.
- Jing Yuan: Jing Yuan is one of the best units to use against Sunday and his minions. Just like Welt and Asta, his Lightning-Lord can really hurt The Great Septimus’ Toughness. However, Lightning-Lord's typically-low SPD must be properly considered.
- Ruan Mei: For a weekly boss that focuses on breaking the boss’ Toughness, Ruan Mei is definitely one of the most notable units to add to this fight.
- Imaginary Trailblazer: Just like Ruan Mei, the Harmony Trailblazer can buff his team’s Break Effect and increase their overall damage against enemies with broken Toughness. Imaginary MC also has a bounce hit on their Skill.
