Lynx joins the Honkai: Star Rail roster as the second 4-star healer character, alongside Natasha. This addition allows players to create diverse teams with healers, even without relying on any 5-star healing characters. This is particularly valuable for challenging content like Forgotten Hall, where a well-built Lynx can significantly enhance her overall support potential.
Lynx offers unique advantages to any team composition. Her Ultimate skill's ability to dispel debuffs from all allies, increase the aggro of Preservation and Destruction characters, and provide AoE healing makes her a valuable addition. Additionally, Lynx scales with HP for her healing and basic attacks, allowing her to provide some damage support when not healing. This means she can use similar equipment to characters like Natasha and Bailu in terms of relics and light cones in Honkai: Star Rail.

As Lynx scales with HP and can significantly benefit from the Outgoing Healing stat, similar to other available healers, she gains substantial advantages from equipping the Passerby of Wandering Cloud set. However, while players can benefit from the 4-piece set bonus, which allows them to recover 1 skill point at the start of the battle, it's worth considering that this is a one-time effect. Therefore, players may find it more effective to mix the Passerby of Wandering Cloud set with the Longevous Disciple set. This combination will further increase Lynx's HP stat through the 2-piece set bonus, enabling players to focus on other essential stats through their main and sub-stats, rather than needing to focus further on the HP% stat alone.
When it comes to Planar Ornaments for Lynx, two solid options are available: Broken Keel and Fleet of the Ageless. Both sets provide additional support functions and valuable stats for Lynx. The choice between these sets should be based on the player's team composition and the availability of optimal stats. For example, if Lynx is part of a team with Blade, Fleet of the Ageless may not be as beneficial, as it provides an ATK% increase to the team. Furthermore, Fleet of the Ageless requires Lynx to have high speed, which can be a useful stat for her but may require more effort to balance. In general, Broken Keel is considered the more versatile and easier-to-optimize set of the two. It also helps Lynx resist negative status effects, which is crucial for a healer character. Being affected by crowd control can be detrimental to the team's success in battles against tough boss enemies.
For Lynx's relic main stats, the primary focus should be on HP%. However, players may find it more valuable to prioritize the Outgoing Healing stat for the Body piece. Depending on player preference and if they have obtained enough HP through sub-stats or the light cone, they may also consider using Speed Boots instead of HP% ones. One of the most valuable main stats to prioritize is Energy Regeneration for the Link Rope. Ensuring Lynx's AoE dispel ability is available as often as possible is crucial, especially when facing bosses like Kafka. Even if there are no negative effects to dispel, this stat remains highly beneficial since Lynx's Ultimate skill also provides AoE healing.
When it comes to sub-stats for Lynx's relics, the primary focus should be on HP% and Effect RES. However, having some DEF% to enhance her survivability and Speed stat to improve her turn speed can also be quite helpful.
Lynx Best Light Cones In Honkai: Star Rail
Lynx has access to a wide variety of light cones, with most Abundance light cones being suitable for her, except for more specialized ones like Luocha's signature light cone, Echoes of Coffin, which significantly increases ATK. The best light cone for Lynx is Time Waits For No One, which is also Bailu's signature light cone. As such, if players already have access to this 5-star option, it's highly recommended.
Additionally, there are several 4-star options that perform relatively similarly. For players planning to use Broken Keel and focus on Effect RES, Perfect Timing can be extremely valuable. This light cone not only increases Lynx's resistance with its own Effect RES bonus but also boosts Outgoing Healing based on this stat. With high enough Effect RES (which is quite attainable), this light cone provides more Outgoing Healing than any other currently available light cone. Players interested in further increasing Energy Regeneration may want to consider Post-Op Conversation or Shared Feeling instead.

Lynx's traces are generally quite valuable, but players should prioritize them in the following order to optimize their resource allocation:

- Skill
- Talent
- Basic Attack
