---|---|---|---|
There’s no doubt that Firefly is one of the fan favorites in Honkai: Star Rail. However, SAM’s ability to act as a Destruction character while Breaking enemies’ Toughness and causing chaos with the extra SPD is not the reason. The reason is the Penacony story quest that touched many of her fans and allowed them to see the other side of the Iron Cavalry Knight.
During her banner, some of her fans might wonder if it’s worth it to pull for Firefly multiple times and collect her Eidolons. For that, this guide will dive deep into her Eidolons and answer if it’s worth it to get Firefly Eidolons in Honkai: Star Rail.
Honkai: Star Rail – Anyway, It's Cool Achievement Guide
The Anyway, It's Cool Achievement in Honkai: Star Rail requires players to interact with seven Steaming Manhole Covers in Dreamflux Reef.
Are Firefly Eidolons Worth it in Honkai: Star Rail?
Firefly is extremely strong without her Eidolons, yet her Eidolons put her in the realm of broken characters in the meta. So, yes, getting Firefly’s Eidolons in Honkai: Star Rail is worth it. Her first and second greatly increase the utility and strength of her Skills, while E6 Firefly focuses more on her Breaking.
E1 - In Reddened Chrysalis, I Once Rest
Eidolon | Effect | Importance |
---|---|---|
E1 | When using the Enhanced Skill, ignores 15% of the target's DEF. And the Enhanced Skill does not consume Skill Points. | Priority |
At E0, Firefly's only issue is that she suffers with Skill Points. So, her E1 also solves that problem by stopping her from consuming SP when using her Skill, making her a very SP-friendly unit. Firefly heavily relies on her enhanced Skill to deal DMG and her E1 allows her to ignore 15% of enemies’ DEF. This is amazing for any DPS in Honkai: Star Rail.
E2 - From Shattered Sky, I Free Fall
Eidolon | Effect | Importance |
---|---|---|
E2 | When using the Enhanced Basic ATK or the Enhanced Skill in Complete Combustion state to defeat an enemy target or cause them to be Weakness Broken, SAM immediately gains 1 extra turn. This effect can trigger again after 1 turn(s). | Priority |
E2 Firefly doubles down on the no SP usage when using Skills, and allows her to spam her Skills without any restrictions. E2 is also one of SAM’s best Eidolons and allows the Iron Cavalry Knight to shine in any Honkai: Star Rail game mode.
E4 - Upon Lighted Fyrefly, I Soon Gaze
Eidolon | Effect | Importance |
---|---|---|
E4 | While in Complete Combustion, increases SAM's Effect RES by 50%. | Low |
Given how broken Firefly’s E1 and E2 are, it makes sense to have a very underwhelming Eidolon in her arsenal. When getting SAM’s E4, you’re just casting an extra layer of protection, which Firefly doesn’t really need.
E6 - In Finalized Morrow, I Full Bloom
Eidolon | Effect | Importance |
---|---|---|
E6 | While in Complete Combustion, increases SAM's Fire RES PEN by 20%. When using the Enhanced Basic ATK or Enhanced Skill, increases the Weakness Break efficiency by 50%. | Priority |
With E6 Firefly, most of your hits are going to one-shot enemies’ Toughness, considering Firefly already had an extra 50% Break Efficiency, and now her E6 gives her an extra 50. Not to mention, Firefly also gains another 50% Break Efficiency from Ruan Mei, which is one of her best Supports.
This is amazing for Firefly, especially because of her E2 that grants her the ability to play over and over again as long as she’s breaking enemies’ Toughness. Additionally, Firefly becomes a must-have in every Pure Fiction run since she won’t stop playing because of her ability to break any Toughness with her attacks. And yes, the 20% Resistance penetration is amazing too.
