Nihility users are one of the more unique paths in Honkai: Star Rail, given their different functions and synergies they can create with other teammates, or the varied utilities they bring to combat. While many recent Nihility characters like Black Swan showcase a DoT-oriented playstyle, Acheron presents a kit more akin to a main DPS unit, while also applying debuffs to enemies. Her unique kit enables her to deal massive damage, especially with more debuffs applied to enemies, and her Ultimate ability doesn't require energy regeneration but can only be activated after a certain number of debuff stacks are applied to the enemy.
Honkai: Star Rail – Dreampeek Call Locations (The Interpretation of Dreams Achievement)
Peeking into seven dreams through the Dreampeek Call in Honkai: Star Rail can reward players with five Stellar Jades, at the cost of 7000 Credits.
In terms of light cones, Acheron's best options also reflect her debuff and DPS-oriented playstyle. Luckily, players can choose from a variety of options of different rarities, including both F2P and gacha options, in Honkai: Star Rail.
6 Patience Is All You Need

Kafka's signature lightcone, "Patience Is All You Need," can also be used on Acheron if players are interested in increasing Acheron's speed in particular. Furthermore, while it is technically a DoT character-benefitting option, considering that it can allow additional debuffs to be applied, it can help Acheron gain enough stacks to unleash her Ultimate faster. Nevertheless, considering that this lightcone is a limited gacha option, it is not the most accessible nor the most resource-friendly option for Acheron, and is only recommended if players do not have any other options on the list nor Kafka to be able to equip it.

One of the new lightcone additions to the Forgotten Hall store, "It's Showtime," is an excellent F2P lightcone for both DoT and other debuff-oriented characters. Given that Acheron can apply a debuff on the enemy, she can effectively make use of the damage dealt. Additionally, while Acheron still focuses on stats like Crit DMG or Crit Rate over stats like Effect Hit Rate, if players manage to get this stat to 80%, Acheron will also be able to increase her ATK stat, which can come in quite handy. One downside to this lightcone, however, is the fact that the Trick stats are only gained upon Acheron as the wearer inflicting a debuff, and as such, it doesn't provide any benefits to the additional synergy between Acheron and other debuff-oriented characters like Pela or Silver Wolf.
4 In the Name of the World

Another 5-star light cone option, but this time more F2P friendly since it is not a limited gacha light cone, is Welt's signature light cone, "In the Name of the World." This light cone will allow Acheron to deal more damage to debuffed enemies, synergizing well with her kit, while she will also be able to deal more damage specifically with her Skill. It is worth noting that while Acheron's most important damage-dealing ability is her Ultimate, her Skill also sees quite some play, making this light cone a worthwhile consideration.
3 Incessant Rain

After the wearer uses their Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate, there is a 100% chance to implant Aether Code on a random target that does not yet have it and was hit by the ability. Targets with Aether Code receive 12% increased DMG for 1 turn. | ||
Another limited light cone option that can work on Acheron is Silver Wolf's signature light cone, "Incessant Rain," as it can help Acheron min-max certain stats like Effect Hit Rate, particularly for options like Crit Rate. Additionally, like Kafka's light cone, this light cone will also allow Acheron to apply an additional debuff, not only aiding Acheron in gaining stacks more easily for her Ultimate, but also boosting the team's overall damage output since it increases the damage enemies receive. However, it's worth noting that this light cone doesn't significantly enhance Acheron's self-damage output and may be overshadowed by other options, especially if players have been able to effectively min-max her Crit Rate without relying on this light cone.

Considering that "Good Night and Sleep Well" will significantly increase Acheron's damage output, even without any superimpositions, it can outshine many 5-star light cones as a 4-star rarity gacha option, but this particularly becomes the case if players further enhance it through superimpositions. It is a very straightforward light cone, making it easy to use in versatile team compositions, as long as the enemy has at least 3 debuffs consistently.

Being designed specifically for Acheron, "Along the Passing Shore" is undoubtedly the best light cone option for her. Not only does it serve as an excellent stat stick, thanks to its high ATK stat and the added Crit DMG effect, but it also inflicts another debuff on the enemy, allowing Acheron to deal more damage overall. Additionally, this debuff synergizes with her Ultimate effect, enabling it to be launched more often. Therefore, if players are deciding between different limited 5-star options, "Along the Passing Shore" should be the top choice specifically for Acheron.
