Who is Dr. Ratio in Honkai: Star Rail?
Dr. Ratio is a brand-new 5-Star character coming to Honkai: Star Rail in the second half of Version 1.6. This will be released on January 17th, 2024, with Dr. Ratio as the main character banner and Kafka coming in as the rerun banner character.
Dr. Ratio is a part of The Hunt Path, and uses Imaginary-type attacks. He is a member of the Intelligentsia Guild, a faction within the game that harbors some of the most intelligent people in the galaxy. Because of his high status, though, many have noted his self-centered personality and his arrogance. However, it is not completely unwarranted, considering his incredible intelligence and talents.

How to Get Dr. Ratio for Free in Honkai: Star Rail
There are a few different criteria that you will need to meet in order to unlock Dr. Ratio for free in Honkai: Star Rail. Here is everything you will need to do to ensure you can get him:
- You will need to have completed A Moment of Peace. This is a Trailblaze Mission that occurs at the very beginning of the game. Specifically, it is the third in the Today is Yesterday's Tomorrow Mission sequence.
- Log in to Honkai: Star Rail from Version 1.6 Phase 2 to Version 2.1. Phase 2 of Version 1.6 begins on January 17th, 2024.
- Have the in-game mailbox unlocked.
As long as you have all of the above criteria met, you'll receive Dr. Ratio for free in your in-game mailbox. All you will need to do is ensure that you claim him from your mail before the end of Version 2.1, meaning you have a ton of time to pick him up and add him to your team to take on battles, the Simulated Universe, missions, and more.
