Honkai: Star Rail has been making a lot of buzz around the gaming world, and rightly so. With its exciting features and well-designed adventures, players worldwide are hooked. The Superimpose feature in Honkai: Star Rail allows players to combine two identical light cones to boost player performance. Each Light Cone has a unique passive ability to help boost character performance and player stats, which helps increase the overall gaming experience. A single light cone starts at rank I and can be enhanced through superimposition, reaching a maximum rank of V.
Players can unlock light cones at different game points, quest and milestone completion, or open hidden chests and wraps. Each Light Cone comes with a rarity ranging between 3-star to 5-star. With 3-star cones being the most common, while 5-star cones are the most difficult to find. Here's how players can make the right superimpose choice in Honkai: Star Rail.
How To Superimpose In Honkai: Star Rail
Go to the Character Profile
To superimpose, the player must go to the character profile or inventory. Players must look for a funnel-like icon at the top of the inventory to look at the light cone collection. Before superimposing, it's advisable to ensure that an identical copy of desired light cones is present in the inventory.
Select the Superimpose Feature
Once identical Light cones have been identified; players must select the light cones they wish to superimpose and Click the Details Button. The superimpose Feature would appear directly underneath the Level Up Option on the screen.
Manually Select Cones
Players can manually select the light cones they wish to superimpose on the superimpose screen. Or they can press the Auto-Add button, which automatically adds up all the available cones. If players want to superimpose specific Light cones, they must be added manually.
Make the Final Decision
Once the light cones have been selected, a stat increase will appear on the screen. This can help players decide whether to go ahead with the superimposition or execute a different action plan. After the final decision is made, the superimposition is complete, and players can continue playing the game with enhanced power.
Superimposing three-star light cones may be a fairly easy decision, but players must consider it carefully before superimposing four-star and five-star light cones. Since it's easier to get Three-star light cones which makes it convenient for players to find a duplicate collection in their inventory, the same cannot be said for the rare starlight cones.
When deciding to superimpose Light Cones, carefully assess whether the stat increase justifies sacrificing the ability to use lower-ranked Light Cones on multiple characters. It may be more beneficial to distribute lower-ranked Light Cones among different characters. This is especially important for scarce four-star and five-star Light Cones. While three-star Light Cones can be freely combined due to their abundance, strategic thinking is crucial for higher-rarity Light Cones. Consider the trade-offs before making the final decision.
