Honkai: Star Rail players have discovered a trick that lets them walk through walls. Honkai: Star Rail is already off to a strong start despite some launch issues.

Honkai: Star Rail was first revealed by HoYoverse in October 2021, giving Genshin Impact fans an idea of what else they could expect from the developer. While Genshin Impact continues to draw millions of players, many Genshin fans have made the jump to Honkai: Star Rail this month to see what sort of similarities and differences there are between the two HoYoverse titles. Honkai: Star Rail introduces a plethora of new characters and familiar HoYoverse faces, with one of these characters tied to this interesting trick.

Reddit user Cthulhuhopp recently shared a Honkai: Star Rail video highlighting a trick that renders walls useless with the help of the ice hero Pela. The clip begins with the player running back and forth a few times as Honkai: Star Rail's Seele, with Pela following right behind them. The player eventually stops right in front of a wall. Not stopping right away, Honkai: Star Rail character Pela continued running right into Seele, pushing them into the wall that they were facing and putting them into a normally off-limits area in the RPG's open world.

After clipping through the Honkai: Star Rail city wall with the help of Pela, the player started exploring the hidden space, showing different layers of walls. Nearly falling off the Honkai: Star Rail map, Cthulhuhopp walks up to the end of a path that shows a vast gray void underneath which presumably would cause the player's death if they jumped forward. After showing another angle of this drop and different Honkai: Star Rail architecture that extends to the depths, Cthulhuhopp moves Seele through the maze of walls to the original one that they went through to access the out-of-bounds location.

Because Honkai: Star Rail was only released in April, it's likely that HoYoverse will update the game to balance the characters, add new content, and fix bugs like the one in which Pela pushes players through walls. Cthulhuhopp isn't the only player to point out the wall-pushing issue associated with Pela, as others responding to their post stated that the ice hero got them stuck behind obstacles that weren't so easy to get around.

Honkai: Star Rail is available now for mobile and PC with PS4 and PS5 versions also in development.
