A new Honkai: Star Rail leak has revealed more information about which characters could join the roster in the upcoming updates. Developer HoYoverse has a pattern of introducing at least two new five-star characters per update, with Robin being the most recent addition in the current Version 2.2.

The second part of Honkai: Star Rail 2.2 is scheduled to arrive on May 29, and it will feature the long-awaited DPS Boothill, who has been mentioned in numerous leaks over the last couple of months. HoYoverse has already confirmed which five-star characters will arrive in the next update.

Honkai: Star Rail Leak Teases Boss for New Endgame Mode

A recent Honkai: Star Rail leak is teasing the return of a classic boss for a new endgame mode, set to launch during Version 2.3.

The game's official social media accounts have introduced two new playable Honkai: Star Rail units named Firefly and Jade, and their releases are expected to be spread over two banner cycles in update 2.3. HoYoverse shows no signs of slowing down the expansion of their playable roster. A new post on the Honkai: Star Rail subreddit has revealed the names of 10 new playable characters and enemies who may become part of the game in the future. A number of these characters have already been mentioned either by in-game NPCs or by credible leakers in the community.

While the leaker did not clarify if this list ranks characters in the order of their release, previous rumors suggested that Jiaoqiu and Screwllum could be the five-star duo joining the roster after Firefly and Jade. According to the official storyline, Honkai: Star Rail's Jiaqiu comes from the Xianzhou Loufu, one of Hexafleet's six Flagships which already introduced many notable playable characters, such as Huohuo and Fu Xuan. When it comes to her playstyle, she's rumored to have the ability to shred enemies' defensive stats and increase Fire damage potential.

Unlike Jiaqiu, Screwllum had already appeared in the main storyline, which introduced him as a mysterious mechanical lifeform who led the resistance against the Genius Society. According to various leaks, Screwllum is expected to be a new Imaginary character in Honkai: Star Rail who can deal large amounts of AoE damage.

The leak has also revealed two new enemies that could become part of the game fairly soon, Feixao and Doomsday Beast. Feixao is one of Honkai: Star Rail's seven Arbiter-Generals of the Xianzhou Aliance's Cloud Knights. While the Doomsday Beast already exists as an in-game boss, the leak mentioned that the new boss fight could be an illusion, meaning that the enemy could appear in a new form in the future.
