Honkai: Star Rail fans seem to be loving the newest Aurum Alley event. Titled "Aurum Alley's Hustle and Bustle," the event lets players take part in the revitalization of one of Xianzhou Luofu's shopping districts.
The recent rollout of Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.3 introduced a number of additions to the game, including the new Xianzhou Luofu area called Aurum Alley. Although it's not as big as other areas on the map, players can still encounter interesting NPCs and puzzles to kill time. But the highlight is definitely Aurum Alley's Hustle and Bustle event, where players will help the Merchant Guild and Aurum Alley shops in logistics and trade as part of a restoration project.
It's only been less than a week since the Aurum Alley event began, but many Honkai: Star Rail fans have expressed that they're loving it. In one Reddit post, user toadkarter1993 said the event made them "care about the Luofu more than the actual main quest" because it gave the world more life, and not just "corridors of shipping containers." In the comments, one noted that Aurum Alley had become their favorite location in Honkai: Star Rail because they saw how much it transformed after finishing the event. Another fan said they appreciated how the event focused on the NPCs living and working in Aurum Alley, which made them feel important, and that they loved the puzzles and mini-games.
With Honkai: Star Rail's Xianzhou Luofu arc officially coming to a close in Version 1.3, some players have expressed that the world wasn't their cup of tea due to the gloominess of the main story missions and how it seemingly lacked humanity. Honkai: Star Rail players can claim Aurum Alley's limited-time rewards and a free Sushang until September 18, but they can still access it and get regular rewards beyond the date. Honkai: Star Rail already has a number of successful limited-time events under its belt, including some unpopular ones like the Boulder Town: Super League Event.
