Honkai: Star Rail has revealed a new character named Luka. The HoYoverse title has been teasing upcoming characters ahead of its Version 1.1 stream, including the Stellaron Hunters Kafka and Blade. However, it seems like this lineup won't make their appearances yet until Version 1.2.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.0 is currently in its second phase with Jing Yuan as the exclusive banner character. Its version 1.1 update is expected to arrive on June 7, and many players are expecting Luocha and Silver Wolf to be included in the banner pulls. Meanwhile, there have already been several leaks for unreleased characters, but they don't seem to have a concrete release timeframe.

Following the reveal of Kafka and Blade on Honkai: Star Rail's Twitter account, it introduced fans to a new four-star Physical character named Luka, who's reportedly following the Path of Nihility. According to the post, he's a mixed martial arts fighter from Jarilo-VI's Underworld who has a mechanical arm, and is a Wildfire member, along with Seele and Natasha. The photo also shows Luka in the middle of a boxing ring, which resembles the Fight Club featured in the Boulder Town: Super League event.

Just like Kafka and Blade, Honkai: Star Rail didn't specify when Luka would come out. But many players surmised that they would be released in Version 1.2 in mid-July, and could possibly make an appearance in the Special Program stream tomorrow morning. Nonetheless, they already expressed their excitement for Luka, with many saying they couldn't wait to pull for him once he becomes available.

While Honkai: Star Rail has kept mum about the character lineups for each of its updates, many leaks have revealed what players could expect. The leak showing unreleased Star Rail character models are rumored to arrive within the year, but of course, players should still take them with a grain of salt. HoYoverse hasn't confirmed many of the characters and their release dates yet. It's a lesson that many Genshin Impact fans know as they sometimes waited a couple of years for leaked characters to become available.

As of writing, Honkai: Star Rail's main story seems to be far from done as players are waiting for Version 1.1 to continue the rest of the Xianzhou storyline. The next update might even introduce new characters, which may or may not be included in past leaks, and many players would likely be anticipating them.

Honkai: Star Rail is available now for PC and mobile devices. PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.
