The latest Honkai: Star Rail leak shows an in-game model of a new boss, Aventurine, that will arrive in version 2.1. Since the release of 2.0, the adventures of Honkai: Star Rail's Astral Express team continue in Penacony, an explorable planet with station-like megastructures and beautiful streets. Some areas in Penacony are completely chaotic, as in other destinations Jarilo IV, Herta Space Station, and The Xianzhou Luofu. It's a bit surprising, given that he will reportedly be the main playable character in the second phase of 2.1. As players might expect, the boss version of Aventurine takes a humanoid form and has a gorgeous design. The leaked in-game model confirms that he retains the peacock colors of his friendly version.
Honkai: Star Rail's Aventurine Will Probably Be A Story Boss
It's safe to say that this model depicts an evil version of Honkai: Star Rail's Aventurine, who wears a creepy mask, a flurry dress, high heels, and a top hat. The Penacony-based enemy will possibly be a story boss Trailblazers must defeat to progress in the version 2.1 story. In all likelihood, he will be against the Astral Express crew before making his introduction as a friendly playable character.
As per leaks, the playable version of Aventurine will be available in the second part of Honkai: Star Rail version 2.1. The character has already received a drip marketing campaign, which confirmed that he's a five-star unit that hails from the Preservation path.
Before version 2.1, Honkai: Star Rail will release the second part of 2.0 and bring the five-star Quantum unit Sparkle on February 29. As usual, there will be Trailblaze missions and rerun characters in the new phase, which will last at least six weeks. Once the version 2.0 update is concluded on March 26, several Penacony-based characters like Acheron and Gallagher will arrive in Honkai: Star Rail.
