Players who have played Honkai Impact 3rd for a long time or have paid attention to the game's story are likely aware of a character named Sirin. Despite being an important character in the story of HI3rd and being featured in various stigmata and events over the years, Sirin has never before had her own playable battlesuit (though she was available as an ELF). Version 6.9 of the game titled "Cutting Dreams at Dawn" has finally fixed this, introducing a playable Sirin battlesuit from the game's Captainverse continuity.

The new S-Rank battlesuit for Sirin is called Miracle Magical Girl (stylized as Miracle ☆ Magical Girl) and is a fire mecha-type DPS that specializes in specifically triggering the ignite mechanic. Due to her emphasis on ignite, Miracle Magical Girl is a good unit to have for most players, as other units that offer this functionality have since fallen out of the meta. Miracle Magical Girl's worth to players is increased even further by the fact that she is available to claim in the war treasury shop, meaning that with enough grind, players can earn her for free.
It is important to note that her stigmata are craftable, and according to information coming from the beta of the Chinese client of Honkai Impact 3rd, her weapon will be available in the battle pass season starting in version 7.0. With all this information in mind, Miracle Magical Girl is essentially a free character if players are willing to be patient and put in the required grind. That being said, this guide will still cover alternative weapons and stigmata just to cover all bases and situations.
Understanding Miracle Magical Girl's Kit
The Miracle Magical Girl battlesuit is seemingly based on Sirin's old ELF unit, as both deal fire and ignite damage while wielding scissors in battle. Most of Miracle Magical Girl Sirin's attacks deal ignite damage in some way and generate stacks for her, which further buff ignite damage. Sirin's normal attack rotation will also fill up a meter above her health bar known as Starry Faith. When the Starry Faith meter is full, players should hold the ATK button in order to consume the bar in what Honkai Impact 3rd refers to as "charging," releasing the charge once the bar has been fully depleted. During this charging sequence, Sirin will deal consistent fire damage, grouping and applying ignite trauma to the enemies in the process, so the "charging" name is a bit misleading. Upon releasing the now-depleted bar, Sirin will do a final charged attack while also refunding some additional SP to herself.
Switching Miracle Magical Girl Sirin off-field will reset the Starry Faith meter as well as all active stacks, so players should ensure to deplete this bar before changing their active character.
Tapping Miracle Magical Girl Sirin's weapon active skill will mark enemies, and tapping it again will detonate the mark and inflict ignite trauma. That being said, the mark will be naturally applied to enemies following Sirin's standard normal attack rotation, so it is advised for players to let the marks happen naturally and then detonate after having already depleted the Starry Faith meter. Fortunately for players, Honkai Impact 3rd makes this rotation process nice and simple by highlighting the weapon active button when it should ideally be pressed. Regardless of how the weapon active skill is used, it will result in the enemy getting hit by ignite trauma.
Much like the Herrscher of Rebirth , Miracle Magical Girl's weapon active skill is unique to her and is not tied to any specific weapon. This means that, regardless of what weapon players have equipped on Sirin, her weapon active skill is still going to work and be a vital part of her kit.
The rest of Miracle Magical Girl's kit includes her ultimate evasion, QTE ability, and ultimate skill. Her ultimate evasion and ultimate skill both cause time fracture to be triggered, with the ultimate skill further dealing fire damage per active stack, resetting her stacks in the process. In order to utilize Sirin's QTE when she is off-field, it can be activated by time slow or ignite being triggered by another on-field character, and activating it will inflict ignite trauma and make enemies take additional ignite damage. Sirin's QTE also has the bonus effect of recovering some of her own SP. Generally speaking, it is best to use Miracle Magical Girl's ultimate skill if it is available after her rotation has finished in order to have as many stacks as possible, further buffing the damage dealt.
Are Miracle Magical Girl Duplicates Worth Pulling?
Now that players understand how Miracle Magical Girl works, it is important to quickly go over duplicates and how they affect the character. As always, it is not advised to pull for duplicates until after players have already pulled all the character's signature gear, and potential future banners and players' current crystal count should be taken into consideration first.
As mentioned in our previous Herrscher of Rebirth guide, remember to spend responsibly if spending any actual money in Honkai Impact 3rd or other gacha games. When it comes to duplicates, ranks S1, S3, SS, SS1, SS2, and SS3 provide raised level caps for existing Miracle Magical Girl skills. The biggest gains for Sirin will be at ranks S2 and SSS, each offering new skills that can be seen in the table below.
S2 | Miracle Magical Girl will unlock two skills at S2. The first skill is called "Unconditional Faith" and will increase Sirin's initial SP. The second skill, "Rend! Entwined Bond of Old Days" will deal bonus damage when charging, and this damage is counted as HP loss for the sake of in-game buffs. |

Miracle Magical Girl Weapon Guide
Like most Honkai Impact 3rd characters, Miracle Magical Girl requires her signature weapon to perform to the best of her abilities. HI3rd simply doesn't offer a lot of alternatives when it comes to equipping a character with a weapon, and considering that the chakram is a newer weapon class in the game, this is especially true for Sirin. Unfortunately for players, due to Miracle Magical Girl and her stigmata being grindable, the weapon is by far the hardest part of her kit to get without spending crystals on the gacha. That being said, news coming from the current beta in China is that Sirin's weapon will be available in the next battle pass season starting in version 7.0 next update. If players are able to complete enough of the battle pass challenges during the next season, they can theoretically get Sirin's weapon for free, so that should be kept in mind.
Miracle Magical Girl's signature weapon that players are advised to pull for is called "Dream Cutter" and provides Sirin with additional damage bonuses, additional instances of damage throughout her kit, additional stacks, and an increase in ultimate skill damage and SP regeneration. More importantly, however, players are going to want to upgrade Dream Cutter to its PRI-ARM variant called "Dream Cutter: Polar Star." The PRI-ARM variant of the weapon increases the scaling of the aforementioned effects across the board, as well as adding another passive that further increases the damage that ignited enemies take.
Alternative Weapons for Miracle Magical Girl
If players are unable to pull Sirin's signature weapon, there is unfortunately not going to be many options when it comes to alternatives. The only real alternative that exists is going to be "Purana Phantasma: Nighteye," which is the PRI-ARM weapon for the ice-support character Reverist Calico (Pardofelis). Unfortunately for players, this weapon is also unique to the gacha, so it is not likely for players to get it unless they already have it lying around.
That being said, if players do already have it, it will make for a decent alternative weapon until players are able to get Miracle Magical Girl's signature weapon. Purana Phantasma: Nighteye will offer Sirin additional damage and team damage.
Why Not Rudder in Dream Λ-I?
When considering alternative weapons for Miracle Magical Girl, most players are going to naturally assume that the only other fire-oriented chakram is the best option. This weapon, Rudder in Dream Λ-I, is a PRI-ARM utilized by the fire support character known as Chrono Navi. In actuality, this weapon is an okay weapon if it is all players have available, but Chrono Navi is likely going to be in the same team as Sirin and will benefit from her signature weapon way more than Sirin will.
Furthermore, while Rudder in Dream Λ-I will provide some additional damage, it is overall a support-oriented weapon and once again, it would be more beneficial if someone else in the team is using it.
Miracle Magical Girl Stigmata Guide
As previously mentioned throughout the guide, Sirin's signature stigmata set ("Little Joys") is fully craftable for free if players are willing to put in the time to grind. Players can learn about the specific stigmata that make up the Little Joys set as well as the set bonuses in the table below.

When it comes to alternative stigmata sets for Miracle Magical Girl, players mostly have two choices; Leeuwenhoek and Aslaug. Aslaug can be obtained through the gacha, and it is the signature set for fire support Midnight Absinthe. Leeuwenhoek, on the other hand, is the first craftable set that players will be grinding as it is required to later be crafted into Sirin's signature set.
Fortunately for players who are currently working on upgrading, Leeuwenhoek is a good alternative to hold onto in the meantime. When looking at the recommended sets in-game, HI3rd recommends Wang Zhaojun for beginner builds and Fu Hua: Musician for budget builds. As usual, these two sets are not particularly good and if players have to use them due to how easy they are to get, the goal should be upgrading to one of the aforementioned sets as soon as possible.
