For decades, the Homeworld series has enjoyed a dedicated community that continues to host events and talk strategy across a number of forums, subreddits, and Discord servers, and the series' passionate community has taken to Homeworld Mobile as well. Players have created a wiki detailing Homeworld Mobile's features, systems, and ships, and they frequently interact with one another both in-game and on Discord.

"It's truly astonishing to realize that Homeworld has been a cornerstone of gaming for 22 years. As we journey through its rich history, Homeworld Mobile, developed by Stratosphere Games, has celebrated numerous pivotal milestones including the anniversary today. The introduction of tier 4 was a transformative moment, offering exhilarating content for our end-game players with great ships and exciting co-op experiences.

"On top of that, the way our community comes together, helping one another, and collectively working on improving the game, is truly incomparable. This is a community that has been evolving and growing for 22 years, and it's heartwarming to witness their passion and dedication. Our story is really a story of work and partnership."

Metzger says that community feedback has been crucial in shaping the game's development and that Stratosphere Games' community manager routinely chats with players to get a feel for what the team ought to work on next. When it comes to a real-time strategy series as significant as Homeworld, it's great to see that the developers are striving to live up to the legacy and are actively listening to the players.

Other highlights include an improved ship customization system that includes 3D previews of player-made ships and some new cosmetic options to test out, and the new Officer Exchange system, which gives players the ability to trade in their officers for new ones and refine their fleets.

"We're thrilled about the Anniversary Event starting today. A huge shoutout to our community and the teams of Stratosphere Games and Gearbox Publishing for making Homeworld Mobile a success. We pride ourselves on being player-centric and will continue working closely with the community to deliver an even better player experience, and we hope to continue doing that for a long time."
