Hogwarts Legacy users unlock several spells over the course of the game, and Revelio is one of the first spells players learn. Revelio is an essential part of Hogwarts Legacy, as it reveals items hidden throughout the world, while also highlighting interactable objects in environment such as chests and locks.The development team recently revealed some interesting stats related to player engagement, such as the number of Dark Wizards gamers have defeated in Hogwarts Legacy. The same post shares that fans have spent 406 million hours playing Hogwarts Legacy, with 674 plants grown by the user base. Now, new Hogwarts Legacy data reveals the absurdly high number of times gamers have cast Revelio.Chandler Wood, Community Manager at Avalanche Software, shares that Hogwarts Legacy fans have used Revelio more than 100 billion times within the first month of its launch. The same tweet confirms that fans have cast Revelio over 37,000 times every second, or over 2.25 million times per minute. Despite it being astronomically high, this ridiculous number may not come as a huge surprise to some users, given that Revelio is one of the most common spells players use in Hogwarts Legacy.
In addition to Revelio, there are plenty of non-combat spells in Hogwarts Legacy, each fulfilling a unique role in this world. As an example, players will get to learn Alohomora as a part of the main quest of Hogwarts Legacy, and gamers can use this to unlock doors and chests scattered throughout the game.
Hogwarts Legacy has been a huge success, selling over 12 million copies in its first two weeks, and it remains near the top of the sales charts. Additionally, Hogwarts Legacy has outsold the lifetime sales of Elden Ring in the UK, a massive achievement considering the success of FromSoftware’s latest game. So, fans can expect the total of number of times Revelio gets cast to continue rising as more players pick it up.
Furthermore, Hogwarts Legacy is yet to launch on all platforms, as the previous gen versions and the Switch edition are scheduled for later in 2023. The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Hogwarts Legacy were set to release in April, but they were recently delayed to May. It’ll be interesting to see where these numbers end up at when all versions of Hogwarts Legacy are available in the market.
Hogwarts Legacy is available now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game will release for PS4 and Xbox One on May 5, and July 25 for Nintendo Switch.
