Harry Potter: Hogwarts Legacy is a highly anticipated Wizarding World RPG from Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Interactive. The title will allow fans of the Harry Potter series to travel to a vibrant and expansive version of Hogwarts and play through interesting missions and activities. The game is currently available for preorder, and it has recently been revealed that Hogwarts Legacy will include an exclusive quest for PlayStation users.
Players have learned a lot about the upcoming title in previous months. The newest trailer for the Harry Potter game illustrated the dark magic in Hogwarts Legacy and showed that gamers will be able to choose their own paths through the title. Now, during the 2022 Gamescom convention, fans have gotten more information about a unique PlayStation mission.
The story of Hogwarts Legacy begins with players discovering their Hogwarts acceptance letter, which has been delivered a few years later than it was supposed to. Gamers will be able to customize their characters and join one of the four Hogwarts houses. Beyond the basics, however, little is known about the anticipated title. The PlayStation-exclusive mission will be included with any PS edition of Hogwarts Legacy, though the details of the quest, such as length and plot, have not been divulged.
Hogwarts Legacy takes place in the late 1800s, long before the events of the Harry Potter series. There will be very few recurring characters, and players can forge their own experiences in Hogwarts. In addition to the exclusive quest for PlayStation, gamers who preorder Hogwarts Legacy can be granted two mounts, potions, or items. These offers are available for any version of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Legacy, which encompasses PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5. The only version of the title that these offers might not apply to is the one for Nintendo Switch, which has yet to receive a release date. The unique PlayStation quest is not dependent on preordering Hogwarts Legacy.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Legacy will be released in February 2023. Though players can expect more information before the release, it is unlikely that specific details about the PlayStation quest or the main story will be revealed. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing. From the Hogwarts Legacy digital deluxe edition to multiple preorder bonuses, fans are sure to be able to acquire interesting content. These potential bonuses, along with a rich and vibrant Hogwarts to explore, will be entertaining for any fan of the legendary literary series. Until the title is released officially, though, players will have to wait patiently for the new Wizarding World experience.
Hogwarts Legacy launches February 10 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, with a Switch version also in development.
