One of the biggest releases of 2023, Hogwarts Legacy instantly captured the hearts of fans, inspiring many to share unique in-game creations, including a festive Halloween character makeover. While many fans have enjoyed modded versions of Hogwarts Legacy, others have instead focused on utilizing the base game items to create original looks and designs.
Offering a new story in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter universe, Hogwarts Legacy lets fans experience life as a student at the iconic Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Players can face off against a variety of foes while learning ancient magic, and they can do so while playing as an original character customized to their liking.
Hogwarts Legacy player Few-Fog showed off their custom character's incredibly festive fall outfit inspired by Halloween. The look features earth-tone fabrics with eye-catching designs, topped off with a spooky jack-o-lantern headpiece. A red, zigzagged waistcoat overlays a golden snakeskin dress shirt, topped off by a rust orange neck scarf. Forest green trousers held up with a bronze belt perfectly complement the patchwork topcoat, which itself features prominent stitching between green, red, and golden segments of beautifully patterned fabrics. Crimson gloves with embroidered detailing and umber leather boots add extra pops of color at the extremities. The highlight of the look is the enchanting pumpkin headpiece, which showcases a classic smiling jack-o-lantern face, a light brown leafy wrap, and a gently curving stem. A stunning outfit to match the seasonal changes in Hogwarts Legacy, this look is a perfect ode to witches, wizards, and All Hallows' Eve.
The in-game items used to create the look include the Crimson Voyager Garb, Autumn Festival Coat, Deadalus Scarf, Dragonhide Herbologist Gloves, and Halloween Pumpkin Mask. While most of the items can be unlocked through quest completion or chest looting, the Autumn Festival Coat can be obtained by completing one of the Hogwarts Legacy Combat Challenges.
Fellow Hogwarts Legacy fans shared their adoration for the look, with some joking that the even the NPC students would be jealous of such a fantastic autumn outfit. Others lamented that certain clothing items are limited based on the selected gender of the character, though fans are still happy to see the creativity shared by others.
