Hogwarts Legacy has recently been treated to a variety of half-off discounts. The ongoing promotion brought Hogwarts Legacy down to a historically low price across multiple digital storefronts, although some of the newly introduced deals are more short-lived than others.

The critically acclaimed open-world RPG normally retails at $59.99 on PC, the Switch, and the last-gen consoles from Sony and Microsoft. The standard price of the current-gen console version is $69.99, which is also the starting point for the Digital Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy.

This wave of big Hogwarts Legacy discounts is most beneficial to Steam and PS4 users, who can currently grab the Standard Edition of the game for $29.99. The offer matches the RPG's historically low price on both storefronts. Ditto for its Digital Deluxe Edition, which is presently available for $34.99 on Steam and $39.99 on the PS Store. While PS5 users need to pay more for the Standard Edition than their PS4-owning peers, the Digital Deluxe Edition is platform-agnostic.

Current Hogwarts Legacy Deals

Meanwhile, Xbox gamers are getting a slightly worse deal, as only the Digital Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy is currently on sale on the Microsoft Store. The discount itself is identical to the one on the PS Store, but the Xbox promo only runs until June 3. In contrast, PlayStation users have ten days more to decide whether they want to take advantage of the recently introduced sale. The differences between the Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions of Hogwarts Legacy are fairly minimal, so price-conscious gamers shouldn't feel like they're missing out on too much if they opt for the more affordable version of the Harry Potter RPG.

The Hogwarts Legacy Switch port has also dropped to a historically low price as part of the ongoing promo, which started at the tail end of May. Specifically, the Digital Deluxe Edition is currently available for $41.99 via the eShop, 40% down from its regular price.

The reason why this particular offer is a bit weaker than the half-off discounts on other platforms may have something to do with the fact that the Hogwarts Legacy Switch port was nine months behind the game's original release on PC and the current-gen consoles. The promo itself is also the shortest-lived of the bunch, as Switch users only have until the end of the week to take advantage of it.
