A Hogwarts Legacy player recently shared footage of a unique building in Hogsmeade that has three different versions depending on which door players use to enter it. The main draw of Hogwarts Legacy may be the massive Hogwarts castle that players are free to explore, but the game's open world is much larger than just the famous wizarding school. Hogwarts Legacy lets players explore the surrounding grounds as well, which includes the village of Hogsmeade.

Hogsmeade is visited numerous times in the Harry Potter books and movies, and so it's no surprise that it plays a key role in Hogwarts Legacy as well. Hogwarts Legacy lets players explore an open world version of Hogsmeade, giving them the ability to enter many of its shops and businesses to purchase new items or simply take a look around. Like other areas in the game, Hogsmeade has secrets of its own for players to discover.

Hogwarts Legacy 2 Is All But Officially Confirmed

Judging by Hogwarts Legacy's sales and every rumor and leak so far, there is little reason to believe that Hogwarts Legacy 2 isn't in development.

Reddit user khasbrown recently shared a video of a particularly interesting Hogsmeade shop in Hogwarts Legacy. The shop is called Bingle & Blatch, and it's the building directly northeast of the South Hogsmeade fast-travel point. The shop has three doors players can use to enter it, and each one gives the shop a completely different appearance. Many players responded to the Reddit post with surprise, as they had never noticed this detail in all their time playing the open world Harry Potter RPG. One user warned about saving in the shop, as it has been known to mess with one's save, but we were unable to replicate the issue in our testing. Still, Hogwarts Legacy players may want to play it safe and avoid saving their game until after they're done checking the shop.

Hogwarts Legacy fans on PC, Switch, and Xbox will soon have good reason to boot the game back up and return to Hogsmeade for themselves. When Hogwarts Legacy first launched, it did so with PlayStation exclusive DLC that included an entire side quest set in Hogsmeade. The horror-themed quest includes the chance for Hogwarts Legacy players to acquire their very own Hogsmeade shop, so it's safe to say fans on non-PlayStation platforms are anxiously awaiting its arrival.

Hogwarts Legacy Bingle & Blatch Location

The Hogwarts Legacy Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest will come to other platforms at some point this summer alongside "additional updates and features." The update isn't expected to be all that substantial, but specifics have not been announced at the time of this writing. More information on the Hogwarts Legacy Summer Update should come to light in the months ahead, including details on its release date and what else it includes besides access to the previously PlayStation exclusive DLC.
