Given how many millions of people are already playing Hogwarts Legacy, many of the magical school's secrets continue to be discovered, with more likely remaining obscured.A Twitter user has garnered over 92,000 views on their Hogwarts Legacy post that highlights a unique interaction that fans can get upon casting disillusionment. The disillusionment spell is learned fairly early on in Hogwarts Legacy, and it allows players to walk around the castle obscured as if they were shrouded by an invisibility cloak. Because of the invisibility effects of disillusionment, fans may discover numerous Hogwarts Legacy Easter eggs that may otherwise be hidden by their character's mere presence like the one spotlighted by this player.Twitter user Madhatter_kim recently shared a clip that shows their customized Hogwarts Legacy wizard utilizing disillusionment to show others how to trigger a funny interaction. Casting the spell at the base of the central hall staircase, Madhatter_kim immediately turns toward the doorway on the right side and sprints down some stairs before opening a door while disillusioned. Upon opening the door to a quiet hallway, a suit of armor grunts and begins moving around while humming rhythmically next to another set that remains motionless.
The animated suit of armor suddenly lifts its seemingly heavy lance and smacks the still rack next to it, knocking it to the stone Hogwarts Legacy castle floor. As the grounded suit of armor rolls around in response to the attack, the aggressive one smacks it with the cumbersome weapon three more times, then jumps into the air while stomping on it with both legs. The suit of armor on the ground falls to pieces after the onslaught of blows as the standing one kicks it a few more times before returning to the position it was in at the start of Madhatter_kim's video.
Because of the magical nature of Hogwarts Legacy, many of the paintings, decor, statues, and suits of armor like this are animated to emphasize the differences with the Harry Potter universe. Hogwarts Legacy has broken sales and Twitch viewership records since it was released on February 10, and it may continue to gain traction with a future last-gen and Nintendo Switch release.
Hogwarts Legacy is available now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, and is scheduled to release for PS4 and Xbox One on April 4, and Nintendo Switch on July 25.
