While such rebellions have been discussed in the series before, this may be an opportunity for fans to uncover more about the details of the movement.
Throughout the history of the Wizarding World, Goblins have occasionally risen up and formed a movement to resist the perceived ill-treatment they receive from witches and wizards. It is easy to believe that the Goblins have been mistreated, as wizards and witches tend to look down on other magical species. The rebellion that will be explored in Hogwarts Legacy is led by a Goblin named Ranrok, and it will involve him making an uneasy alliance with a dark wizard named Victor Rookwood. Developers have revealed that as players strengthen their relationships with their companions, they will learn more about their friend's stories, expand their abilities, and even have them accompany them on their journey. Companions seem useful to have around, but there are still many questions surrounding them, including whether there will be any house-based restrictions and whether Hogwarts Legacy will have romance options.
