As more and more players get their hands on the game, new secrets are uncovered. For those on PC, mods allow things to get wild, with players either able to lean more heavily into deep immersion or the silly side of things.

1 Recreate Iconic Locations From The Books & Films

Players Can Get Creative When Designing Their Room Of Requirement, Using Certain Props

Once players have unlocked the Room of Requirement and a handful of the best conjurations, they can make some truly incredible designs, using architecture, color, and atmosphere, and by magically altering the sizes of objects.

Fans of the Harry Potter series, however, will soon realize that some of the items they can place are iconic items from the main series, such as Professor Umbridge's cat plates or the House-elf heads mounted on the walls of Sirius' house. With this in mind, one of the most fun things to do in Hogwarts Legacy is to recreate iconic locations or scenes from the series.

2 Use Mods To Change The Game

PC Players Can Download Funny, Immersive, Or Gameplay Mods

Not all games are moddable, but for players on PC, Hogwarts Legacy thankfully is. There are a plethora of mods that can be downloaded, from hilarious silly mods that swap out the broom for a lovable ogre to immersive mods that make all the NPCs adhere to a standard school schedule.

How players choose to play the game is completely up to them, and by mixing and matching mods, things can get very interesting.

3 Freeze Fireplaces And Enter Them

Use Glacius To Find Secret Rooms & Loot

Hogwarts Legacy Fireplace

Glacius, the freezing spell, is one of the most underrated spells in all of Hogwarts Legacy and most players don't know one of its secret uses. There are several large fireplaces in the game, and players can use Glacius to freeze the fire and climb through it.

Behind these fireplaces, players can be sure to find loot, but sometimes they will also find fascinating secret rooms like the one found behind Professor Sharp's bedroom in the Faculty Tower. Finding secret places within Hogwarts is one of the best things about the game, and players can't help but imagine future troublemakers, such as the Marauders and the Weasley twins, similarly stumbling upon these rooms.

4 Go To Azkaban

Hufflepuffs Have A Unique Mission Where They Visit The Infamous Wizarding Prison

What Professor Garlick or the game doesn't tell players, is that Wingardium Leviosa can also be used to deadly effect in combat. Although it is not easy at first, players can levitate interactable objects such as rocks and then swing them around into enemies. Unlike the Ancient Magic throw, which throws an object once before making it obsolete, this can be done as much as the player wants.

Players Will Only Have One Chance To Do This During A Specific Quest

During one of the most fun quests in Hogwarts Legacy, "The Polyjuice Plot," where players go undercover as Headmaster Black using Polyjuice Potion, there is a unique interaction that most players will have missed.

Before talking to Scrope who is cleaning the Owl Lectern, players can click on the lectern to give the students of Hogwarts a quick speech and declare that a change of decoration is in order. The Great Hall will then be decorated with the banners of whichever House the player belongs to.

As winter descends on the Scottish Highlands, players will also find the occasional snowman. What most players don't know is that attacking these snowmen will cause them to throw a snowball back. Even more of a secret is the fact that players can cast the two fire spells Incendio and Confringo to melt these snowmen, and then Glacius to reform them.
