With its plot centered on comedy, You're Being Summoned, Azazel portrays a similar world and feel to The Vampire Dies in No Time. Young and naive Rinko Sakuma joins a detective agency, thinking it will be just like any other, but she soon learns that her boss, Akutabe, is a demon contractor and her assumptions were completely wrong.
Azazel, Akutabe's summon, is Rinko's initiation into the occult. Azazel is a canine demon that Rinko now owns under contract. Azazel's power to make others lust after him in exchange for food causes Rinko a lot of frustration as the two explore the occult world.

Any average person would be understandably terrified by the castle, which is gloomy, creepy, and full of haunting horrors. Princess Syalis, on the other hand, seems unfazed by the castle's horrors. She is bored with being a princess and only cares about getting a good night's sleep. Though it becomes more difficult than expected, the princess does not give up hope of getting a good night's rest.
She gets to work sneaking out of her cell, murdering her guards, and making pillows out of them all for a good night's sleep. Fans of The Vampire Dies in No Time will recognize several themes in this series' humorous features and action plots.

Expected to become the next demon king while hiding his true identity as a human, Iruma must confront the various challenges that await him.
