In High on Life, players will need to get through some introductory tutorial sequences before reaching the first open area of the game. Once players have transported their suburban home to the strange alien world, they'll soon discover Luglox Chests scattered about. However, if players try and break open the chests to get Pesos (High on Life's currency), they won't be able to until they get a new weapon: a talking knife named Knifey.
How to Get the Knife in High on Life
As mentioned, the chests players will find around downtown (and other areas) can only be opened with a knife. Luckily, obtaining Knifey High on Life's ridiculous story, so it cannot be missed.
After exploring the downtown area to look for the bounty hunter Gene, he'll give players a suit that will give players a couple of valuable features, like a waypoint to show the direction of the main objective. Players eventually need to go back to their house and speak to Gene and their sister. Soon after, they can access the machine near Gene and take on their first bounty to find and defeat 9-Torg in Blim City.
Once High on Life players take the knife from the ants in the meeting room, they'll unlock an achievement called " Bring a Knife to a Gun Fight , earning gamers 20 Gamerscore .
Players just need to follow the waypoints to reach the location of 9-Torg; however, before they battle 9-Torg, they will reach a small meeting room with ants.
After a brief conversation, they will let players grab the knife from the table. Then, players will need to kill the ants with the knife by pressing down on the right stick. Knifey can not only harm enemies, but players can also use them to attach to magnetic objects and hookbugs by pressing the left bumper (LB).
How to Open Chests in High on Life
Now that players have Knifey in their left hand, they can use him to stab the chests to open them up. From the several chests we've opened up in the early areas, it seems they all have 100 Pesos inside.
And for the folks out there that want the highest Gamerscore possible, they can unlock the Luglox Genocide achievement for finding (and opening) all Luglox Chests in High on Life.
