When High on Life hit the market almost one week ago, the game was met with mixed reviews from official critics for its mix of crude humor and buggy gameplay. The one aspect that has the majority of the game's audience keeling over in laughter is the dialogue, and one High on Life player discovered just how deep the AI voiceover can be by attempting to avoid crushing Cutie Town.

Cutie Town is a miniature city inhabited by tiny, harmless creatures who are both inviting and careless by nature. In order to access it, players must unlock Blorto's secret menu, which will open up a variety of different locations to purchase with warp discs. Fortunately for players, Cutie Town is free of charge and once the player travels to the miniature city, they are greeted by a red character, packed with hilarious dialogue that High on Life is known for, floating in the air with the help of balloons.

TikTok user dannylightfoot91 shared a video just days after the game's release in response to a user's comment about how Cutie Town videos only involve its inevitable destruction. User Vergil wondered what it would be like to see a player avoid crushing the small town and dannylightfoot91 obliged, posting a video lasting slightly over two minutes, and the events that unfold are exactly what makes High on Life such a gem to play. Cutie Town's lack of size leaves it prone to being destroyed by the player who is of normal size by the human standard but titan-like to the city's stature. By simply walking into Cutie Town, the player's size demolishes every building in sight, leaving a once-peaceful location in shambles.

To the credit of dannylightfoot91, they made a point of attempting to avoid this fate at all cost by walking around the town or even taking a few steps back. The red character suspended in the air by balloons makes it hard on the player by launching a verbal pity attack, making the user feel bad for not vising Cutie Town. Creator Justin Roiland provides some of his best work with a Rick and Morty vibe, starting with the non-playable character accepting the player simply does not want to visit the town until it eventually believes that it's doing something wrong and is messing up the situation, becoming the very reason the player doesn't want to enter Cutie Town. Kenny, the Gatlian in hand during this unforgettable moment, even begins to feel bad and talks the player into giving in and heading into town.

According to some users who commented on the video, the amount of destruction does not determine the reaction by the character who once talked the player into entering Cutie Town. Whether the Bounty Hunter wreaks havoc and leaves the entire city in ruble or simply takes down the welcome sign, the miniature character will react the same. It's another perfect example of how well the game breaks the fourth wall, like it does with the High on Life achievement descriptions, which are used for more comedy and enhancing the overall experience. With Roiland's creativity on full display, it's only a matter of time before players discover more hidden gems scattered around the map.
