Deadpool 2 actress Shioli Kutsuna joins the cast of Hideo Kojima's upcoming project. Hideo Kojima is one of the most renowned names in gaming, and the former Metal Gear Solid series designer has only created more and more intrigue around what he's working on over at Kojima Productions. Following the success of the company's first title Death Stranding, a lot of eyes have been on Kojima to see what he'll come up with next. Already, there is a Death Stranding sequel reportedly in the works, something that fans believe the creator has been teasing.

Of course, there is also the option that Kojima Productions is working on something else entirely. Currently, there are two games understood to be in production at the company, and a lot of fan speculation points to the unknown title being released before Death Stranding 2. Whatever is in the works at Kojima Productions, there have been plenty of teases for it in recent weeks and months, with actresses like Margaret Qualley and Elle Fanning being showcased on Kojima's Twitter.

Kutsuna has worked in video game related projects before, appearing in Square Enix's CGI film Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy 15. However it appears this will mark her first major role within a game itself. Her reveal is similar to the images that showed off Margaret Qualley and Elle Fanning, who also appeared in close-ups with red lighting and a cryptic question over their faces. Whatever Kojima is cooking up for his next title, it seems that fans will once again be treated to an experience unlike many other games being released today.

It's not only fans that have great expectations for Kojima's next project. Following all the teases shown on both the creator's Twitter and Kojima Production's website, the Death Stranding director has stated that this next project is like a "new medium." Kojima believes that this next game will have big implications for movies as well as video games.
