Hi-Fi Rush is a super stylistic third-person rhythmic action game that puts players in the shoes of a guy named Chai, who ends up merging with his music player, allowing him to use the power of beats and music to overthrow a corrupt corporation. For those that are interested in checking out the latest Microsoft exclusive but aren't sure about the time commitment, here's everything you need to know about how long it takes to beat Hi-Fi Rush.

In a surprising reveal/launch trailer during Xbox and Bethesda's Nintendo Direct-like presentation this week, it was announced that Tango Gameworks' next game is not only quite the departure for the studio, but it's already available to play via Xbox Game Pass and PC.

How Long is Hi-Fi Rush?

For the unaware, Hi-Fi Rush is a mostly linear experience, with the game taking place over the course of 12 missions known as Tracks in-game. Track 1 is the opening chapter of Hi-Fi Rush and takes about an hour to complete. The length seems to be on par with the other tracks, too, as the average completion time for Hi-Fi Rush is about 8-10 hours on the average difficulty.

Now, this length can vary based on how many times players lose in battle or how much time they spend searching each stage for hidden collectibles and upgrades. There are also over 60 achievements to unlock to earn some Gamerscore on Xbox, so that might take players at least 15-20 hours.

Players can also spend some time in the hideout, where gamers will end up between Tracks. There, they can interact with teammates, pet a cat, unlock new challenges, and purchase new moves, items, and abilities. Even so, there's not too much to do there, so most of the game time will be spent during the linear main story missions.

Hi-Fi Rush is available on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
