Hi Fi Rush starts out nice and slow by introducing game mechanics one at a time. This includes the many types of collectible that players can gather throughout the course of the game, although several of them won't appear until later.
The first part of the first Hi Fi Rush stage doesn't have any collectibles aside from generic gears and health items, but they start showing up more and more frequently in the later areas. Players who want to find all of them (including the post-game collectibles) can find what they're missing in the list below.
Up to the Rooftops
After Chai gets the tutorial for beat hits, look for a door with a "Staff Only" sign on the right. Climb the containers to find the first Life Gauge.
After the cutscene about the QA Center, jump over to the next building. Climb the ramp and find this Vlog close to the next ramp.
Just past the vlog is a broken rail. Jump across from the rail onto a water tower to get the second Life Gauge.
Production Lines
There's a short 2D section that ends with Chai taking another elevator. Go down the dark hallways to the square hole in the floor, but first check the nearby computer to get the second Vlog.
After Chai gets the Reverb power, there's a chance to test it out with a fight. The next room past the fight has a Vlog in the back-left corner.
Leave the second room using the moving crane and spot a large chest robot on the right. Open it up by mashing the light attack button (no rhythm needed for this) and grab a Health Tank piece.
Go all the way to the end of the first conveyor belt to find an area to the right. The Reverb piece is hiding behind some breakable crates.
After the tough enemy tutorial, go to the left and jump across a platform to get some batteries, health items, and the fourth Vlog.
Quality Assurance
Instead of heading through the door marked "QA CHECK," look at the computer to the right of the ramp to get the stage's last Vlog.
Just to the right and left of the QA CHECK door are platforms. Use these to reach the upper level on the right and find the third Life Gauge piece.
Post Game
Some collectibles in Track 1 can only be found on a second run of the stage after the main game ends.
After the first hammer button, cross the bridge to the next roof and head right. Fall off the side to find a lower ledge and go around the side to find the game's first Challenge Door.
Past the conveyor belts is a hammer button that starts a moving platform. To the left of where the platform leads is a breakable door, and behind the door is a timed generator sequence. Follow the left arrow and climb up to find a chest with an Armstrong Chip inside.
Do the generator sequence again, but this time follow the right arrow to reach the Graffiti.
There's another high area on the left side of the QA CHECK door. Get past the fire door and climb the crates on the right to get the second Armstrong Chip.
Instead of heading straight back down, check the wall above the crate staircase. Jump across to get the second Graffiti in the stage and complete the list of collectibles.
