As first spotted by Gamesradar, Arrowhead Game Studios' decision to overhaul the Helldivers 2 reward system came via the developer’s Discord server in response to players' reports of delayed and missing medal payouts. Community manager Twinbeard addressed concerns over missing Helldivers 2 Major Orders medals, acknowledging the system's issues, which have been persisting for a considerable period. According to Twinbeard’s statement, medals for two out of the latest three major orders have already been shipped to players. The remaining batch is scheduled to roll out within a specific timeframe, either in 16 hours or at a designated time on April 10th, depending on certain factors.

Moreover, the team admitted that the current system's reliability is inadequate, indicating its lack of dependability and the urgent need for substantial improvements to enable Helldivers 2 players to farm medals properly.
