Helldivers 2 Adding XP Multiplier For Limited Time
Helldivers 2 adds an XP and Requisition multiplier for a limited time while players await a new update that will fix a bug affecting in-game rewards.
How to Play Solo
Helldivers 2 is designed to be played with four players. As players progress, the game's difficulty ramps up, making it more challenging and intense. For this reason, the developers did not include a single-player mode in the game. It means that players can not find this option within the setting. However, there is a workaround to overcome this limitation and enjoy the game alone.
Several objectives in Helldrivers 2 can only be completed by collaborating with other players. Going solo means you will miss out on most of those objectives. Additionally, there are some dangerous enemies that can be hard to tackle alone.
If you are still determined to play solo, follow the steps below:
- Launch the game first and open the Menu.
- Select the Options from the Menu and then click on the Gameplay.
- Tap on the Matchmaking Privacy. You will need to change the Matchmaking Privacy setting. This setting is set to Public by default. It does not offer Single Player mode, and you will need to change the setting to Friends Only.
- After changing the setting, launch the game without inviting any of your friends to play solo.
However, it is worth mentioning that, regardless of whether you choose to play solo or with a team, the difficulty level in Helldivers 2 remains consistent. Players will encounter the same challenges and level of difficulty regardless of their chosen gameplay style.
Helldivers 2 is an online game only and can not be played offline. You will need an internet connection to play the game, even if you are going solo.
