One Helldivers 2 player has designed cinematic finishing moves inspired by executions in For Honor. Executions are a chain of attacks that can be used on enemies whose health bar is almost drained. These melee finishers usually don't give an advantage during matches, but they increase the player's overall enjoyment of the game.

Although Helldivers 2 doesn't have executions, it features a variety of cosmetics, including capes, player cards, emotes, and victory poses that can be used after completing missions successfully. These items allow players to customize their own character to their liking. Many cosmetics have no stat bonuses and can be obtained from Helldivers 2's Warbonds by spending Medals.

Helldivers 2 launches a new Major Order, 'Operation Enduring Peace,' tasking players with a crucial mission that impacts the ongoing Galactic War.

One Helldivers 2 player, who goes by ADR-299 on Reddit, has designed finishing moves that many want to see in the game as cosmetic items. These executions are purely cosmetic, allowing players to perform a chain of attacks to kill Automatons. The first move sees the character slamming an Automaton enemy to the ground and crushing its skull. The second one shows them stabbing the enemy multiple times and taking it down with an effective headbutt.

One of these executions allows the player to do a wrestling takedown and punch Helldivers 2's Automaton enemies in the face until they die. Another cosmetic move sees them bending the Commissar's left arm against its joint and using the laser weapon in its right hand to execute it.

Fellow players on Reddit praised ADR-299 for making these melee finishers, with one requesting them to create a parry mechanic for small enemies. They also expressed their eagerness to see executions for Helldivers 2's Terminid creatures, which they think would be nice additions to the next Warbond.

Helldivers 2's Warbonds work similarly to battle passes from other games, giving players access to a variety of content, such as weapons, cosmetics, and armor. In order to purchase items included in Warbonds, players will need Medals, one of the main currencies in the game. Players can earn Medals by completing daily quests and missions.

Helldivers 2 has recently released a premium Warbond, Polar Patriots, which offers players armor, weapons, grenades, and cosmetics.
