Harvestella offers some basic tools for all new travelers along with a tutorial on how to farm, water, and harvest crops delivered by none other than Cres. But, players should take the risk and dive deeper into the experience as they might uncover some secrets that can facilitate and speed up their farming process.

A farming land filled with debris is a common sight in most farming games. When people first started their game, the farm is usually filled with weeds, rocks, and tree stumps. Usually, weeds can be picked easily, but trees and rocks aren't as simple. Harvestella is no exception to this concept. In the beginning, stones will occupy some spaces of the farming lot, interrupting players' cultivation process. Luckily, this obstacle can easily be removed by crafting a hammer in Harvestella.

To craft the hammer, players must collect 10 Hard Stones and use the Crafting Table at their house in Bird's Eye Brae.

Harvestella's hammer is introduced by Cres on Day 2 when the traveler complains that rocks are getting in the way while farming, which leads Cres to suggest crafting one since neither one of them owns one. Afterward, Cres proposes heading to Njord Steppe (located on the east side of Bird’s Eye Brae) where the needed materials will be found. The NPC asks travelers to be careful as the area is filled with enemies.

Meanwhile, the Crafting Table itself is a gift offered by the Mayor along with the Bell Recipe as a welcome gift. The table is where players can craft all sorts of Valuables and items as long as they have a recipe.

Where To Find Hard Stones In Harvestella

Hard Stones can be found in various locations in Harvestella. The small rocks are scattered on the ground and are marked by a tiny rock symbol on the map. On Day 2, travelers will only be able to collect them from Njord Steppe while facing multiple enemies that have different attributes like:

  • Zouy
  • Chloro Gel

In the next few days, players will be introduced to new areas that they can explore to find Hard Stones and other crafting materials. The Higan Canyon dungeon is one of those places, but this location is packed with enemies like:

  • Goblin
  • Fire Element
  • Crawler

Players can choose between avoiding or fighting them based on their preference.

How To Use The Hammer In Harvestella

The hammer is useful for expanding the farm territory by breaking those burdensome rocks. It can also be used to remove the planting squares and bring the ground to its original state if travelers no longer wish to grow anything on it.

The farm expansion can help players in so many ways, as new spaces will be unlocked to grow more crops. Each added crop means more revenues from the Shipment Box.

Harvestella is now available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
