Zynga has been support its match-3 puzzle game Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells with events and new content on a regular basis since launch. Previously, this included a special Valentine's Day event as well as a collaboration with Zayn Malik. Now Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells has launched its latest in-game event, themed after fan favorite characters Fred and George Weasley.

The Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells Magical Mischief event is live in the game. Themed after Fred and George Weasley's pranks, the Magical Mischief event is all about earning Mischief Points. If players manage to complete puzzles in the game on their first or second try, they will get Mischief Points that in turn allow them to earn a Prank Box. The Prank Box will drop things like Chattering Teeth, Fanged Flyers, and other hazards on other players' game boards.

This latest Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells event should keep Harry Potter fans engaged with the match-3 puzzle game while they wait for news on some of the other upcoming Wizarding World projects. In terms of Harry Potter games, perhaps the most notable title on the horizon is Hogwarts Legacy, a big budget action-RPG where players will be able to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

As far as Harry Potter films go, fans of the franchise can look forward to the release of the third Fantastic Beasts movie. Coming a bit later than expected due to a variety of factors, the currently untitled third Fantastic Beasts movie will hit theaters next summer on July 15, barring any further details.
