The developer behind Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, Jam City, has recently announced a partnership with McDonald's Canada. This is connected to McDonald's restaurants hosting its annual Monopoly Coast to Coast giveaway game. To change things up this year however, part of the giveaways will be taking place in one of Jam City's other games: Cookie Jam.
Due to the partnership being with the Canadian branch of McDonald's restaurants, this will only be available for Canadian Cookie Jam players and restaurant goers. This giveaway additionally has no interactions with Jam City's Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery as of yet.
The McDonald's Monopoly Coast to Coast giveaway will be running from October 6, 2020, to November 9, 2020. Players will have until November 30th, 2020 to redeem their prizes received from marked McDonald's menu items.
There are a variety of prizes that can be won in this giveaway. These range from in-game currency for Cookie Jam to a new car for players in real life. It is a game of chance, so players cannot guarantee what they'll get with each code.
In order to get a code to exchange for a prize, players need to first get a McDonald's Monopoly menu item. Players will then need to peel the officially marked game stamp on the menu item's packaging. On the stamp there will be a code that players can enter online on the giveaway's official website. Every seven codes that a player enters will unlock 1 of 8 Monopoly rewards. However, it is required that players make an account for the giveaway for tracking purposes.
