Returnal is an incredible game, which utilizes brutal difficulty with a harsh checkpoint system, making it violently hard to complete. Roguelike games often involve a lot of learning via deaths, and Returnal is a perfect example of this, constantly frustrating players with a huge amount of dying and retrying areas.
