Halo Infinite's second season, Lone Wolves, has delivered new maps and items to players in an attempt to refresh the title's content. The second season of Halo Infinite includes unique modes, like Last Spartan Standing, and multiple maps that offer fans the ability to experiment with different play styles. One of the season 2 maps, called Breaker, is great for sniping, as one frustrated fan illustrates during an epic rampage.

Along with Breaker, Catalyst is the other map that joins Halo Infinite for season 2. Each map is suited to a different type of combat, with Breaker boasting success as a Big Team Battle location where players can easily defend their zones with long-range weapons, a problem that some fans have found awesome ways to solve.

Reddit user Gameplayer9752 recently posted a video to the Halo subreddit titled, "When you've had it with all the sniping in the new map." The video shows footage of a Big Team Battle on the decaying Breaker map, where snipers defending an objective are able to ruthlessly kill their enemies from a perfect vantage point. Unlike the new Catalyst map, Breaker makes it easy for snipers to pick off their enemies, which can be incredibly annoying. In the clip, however, Gameplayer9752 shows a group of snipers getting demolished by an energy sword and a grappleshot. For those that have suffered due to the snipers on this map, the clip should prove to be an extremely enjoyable watch.

The problem of snipers and map configurations expose what fans have felt is a bumpy beginning to Infinite's second season. While 343 Industries works to keep the title up to date, there are many players who are still calling for more content along with fixes to the current additions. Though it is unknown what plans await Halo Infinite in the future, it is clear that fans are using their skills to make the best of this new phase of the title.

Halo Infinite Lone Wolves, while imperfect, is certainly a promising addition to Halo. With never-before-seen maps, armor, cosmetics, and modes to experience, players can be hopeful that future seasons of Infinite will be even more impactful. And, while not everyone is able to wreak havoc with an energy sword in perfect form, there are plenty of gamers who are sure to find fascinating ways to conquer their enemies in the current season. With a little bit of classic Halo destruction and hope for a more satisfying future, fans can now enjoy an interesting era in Infinite.

Halo Infinite is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
