Despite the fact that reviews from both players and critics of Halo Infinite has been almost universally positive, there have been some problems for the Xbox exclusive here and there. As is the case with almost any game these days, Halo Infinite has had some bugs and glitches pop up occasionally but the latest one, which some players say has led to the UI moving extremely slow, is causing players to complain on social media.

Halo Infinite also had a bit of trouble leading up to the game's eventual launch as the latest 343 Industries project had to be delayed nearly a year from its original release date when it was supposed to be arriving alongside the Xbox Series X/S. One of the reasons that the game was delayed is because there were several aspects of the gameplay that didn't seem up to snuff to Halo players. However, since the game's multiplayer mode finally did arrive in November followed by its campaign in December, most users have been singing the game's praises, as long as they can actually get into a session.

Over on Reddit, user HavenElric was among the first to bring up the latest glitch in Halo Infinite that is apparently plaguing several other players. They asked if anyone's UI was taking quite a while to load in if it loaded at all.

It appears that there are quite a few other people in the Halo subreddit who have been noticing the same issue as the post has more than 4,500 upvotes. Quite a few comments chimed in to say they had been noticing the same thing with several Halo Infinite players expressing relief that it wasn't just their PC that was having some problems all of a sudden. One user even claimed that it usually took a "solid three minutes" before the UI would load through and allow him into a game.

Some users who did report that they weren't having any problems with the Halo Infinite UI seem to have very specific PC specs. Those who said the game was working fine for them tended to be using a computer with an SSD rather than an HDD.

However, other user comments made it clear that the slow loading UI wasn't limited to PCs. It also appears as if the Xbox One version of the game can run into the same kind of problem. While most agreed that three minutes was in the minority, it appears quite a few people are waiting for the screen to load anywhere from 20 to 80 seconds. It's not clear if the Xbox Series X/S version of the game is having the same kind of issue.

Halo Infinite is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
