A talented group of Forge mode creators have launched a brand-new Battle Royale mode for Halo Infinite, in the absence of a 343 Industries-created version. Many gamers have been asking for a Halo Infinite Battle Royale ever since the game's release back in 2021, although it has never come to fruition.

Although Forge mode wasn't released for Halo Infinite until well after the initial launch period, there's no denying that it has lived up to the hype and more. With the addition of enemy AI and scripting, gamers have been able to take their Forge creations to the next level with Halo Infinite. There was even one player who recreated a classic Halo: Combat Evolved level in Infinite's Forge, showcasing just how far these tools can be pushed. There's no doubt that they can be pushed even further, too, so it'll be exciting to see what players can come up with over the next few years.

A Halo Infinite player creates a neat Spartan design, paying tribute to a forgotten 2008 PlayStation 3 FPS, once dubbed the 'Halo Killer.'

A group known as The Forge Falcons has launched its amazing Halo Infinite Battle Royale, created entirely using Forge, and it's everything that players would expect from the game mode. With a maximum of 24 players per match, it comes with enemy AI, a shrinking map circle, powerful drops mid-game, as well as a 5-tier loot system. That's not all - The Forge Falcons has even created three brand-new maps designed for a balanced Battle Royale experience. While it was rumored that a Halo Infinite Battle Royale was canceled earlier this year, this mode from The Forge Falcons certainly fills the void.

Halo Infinite Battle Royale Created in Forge

There's no doubt that the developer has done a fantastic job with this particular Forge creation, and it will be interesting to see if any of the hype it generates results in 343 Industries putting it into an official playlist. While this may seem unlikely, the studio has frequently included fan creations in matchmaking if they're of a high enough standard, and this certainly meets the bar. Just recently, one new Halo Infinite mode was added that gave serious Call of Duty Zombies vibes, again developed by The Forge Falcons, incidentally. If the creator can get one mode in matchmaking, there's no reason to believe it can't get another in the form of this Battle Royale.

It's a good time to be a Halo Infinite fan. The game is far better than it was at launch, and even still, 343 Industries continues to update the game with a bunch of new content years after release. Upcoming soon is the Operation Tenrai 4: A Warrior Blooms in Peace event in Halo Infinite, which is set to release on June 4, with new challenges and cosmetics to unlock. Now let's see if The Forge Falcons' Battle Royale mode is added to any official playlists.
