Hades 2 Get Lime Guide Incantations Cauldron Material

Limestone is one of the many materials that Melinoë can acquire to use for incantations in the Cauldron. Early in the game, you will unlock the Incantation of the Gathering of Ancient Bones. This Incantation grants the Grave Thirst effect to one of the Nocturnal Arms each night, which will grant Melinoë 2x Bones every time she completes a room.

Later on, when you unlock Weapon Aspects, the default Aspect of Melinoë for the Argent Skull can be upgraded using Limestone, too. Though it's not as widely useful as some other materials in Hades 2, Limestone is still worth picking up for the potential to upgrade one of the best weapons in Hades 2.

How To Get Limestone in Hades 2

Hades 2 Get Lime Limestone]

There is only one way to get Lime in Hades 2, and that's to mine it. In the first area Erebus, Melinoë will run into Silver deposits, but after getting through and progressing to the second area Oceanus, Limestone will replace Silver deposits.

Bring along the Crescent Pick to harvest Limestone from Limestone deposits – you won't be able to get this material with any other gathering tool.

Limestone only appears in the second area Oceanus, and after you bneat the final boss here and progress to the third zone, Limestone will stop appearing. As long as you can reliably beat the first boss at the end of Erebus and make it to Oceanus with the Crescent Pickaxe, you will be able to harvest Limestone from any deposits you find in Hades 2.
