Glassrock is a Reagent in Hades 2 that players will need at several points during their time with the game. The way that the material is obtained may not be immediately obvious, though, and some fans may be confused about where they should look for it. This guide is here to alleviate that confusion, and full details on how to get G Rock in Hades 2 can be found below.

Hades 2: G Rock Location

Players who are hunting for G Rock should begin by equipping the Crescent Pick at the Silver Pool in the Crossroads. Indeed, this Gathering Tool plays a critical role in the harvesting of Glassrock in Hades 2, and it can be unlocked with just a single Ashes after the Night's Craftwork incantation has been performed at the Cauldron.

Players who are trying to perform Hades 2's Unraveling a Fateful Bond incantation can learn how to get the Thalamus that they need in this guide.

Once the Crescent Pick has been equipped, players must descend into the Underworld and begin working through its Regions. More specifically, fans must get to the Underworld's third Region, the Mourning Fields, which becomes accessible after defeating Scylla and the Sirens. While reaching that area may be quite challenging initially, players should be able to get to the Fields of Mourning consistently after unlocking some Arcana Cards in Hades 2 and making other forms of meta-progression.

Upon reaching the Mourning Fields, players must be on the lookout for jagged gray stones that emerge from the ground. Indeed, those stones are Glassrock nodes, and players should be able to extract three of the Reagent from every node that they encounter.

There are some Chaos Boons in Hades 2 that give players the chance to harvest additional resources with their Gathering Tools. Those are the "Discovery" Boons, and fans may want to pick one up if they have the opportunity to do so as they make their way to the Mourning Fields. Players will also be able to upgrade their Crescent Picks eventually, and that will allow them to collect more G Rock from their respective nodes.

To note, the openness of the Mourning Fields can make locating G Rock a bit difficult. Fortunately, the Reagent Sensing incantation can help point fans in the right direction, and Hades 2 players should make sure that they have unlocked it before setting out in search of Glassrock. It can also be helpful to target miniboss rooms, which are marked with a white skull, within the Fields of Mourning, as their enclosed layouts make finding the material easier.
